“In addressing the requirements of both educators and learners, it is essential for the educational technology environment to be guided by collaborative efforts. We take great pride in our association with D2L, as it enables us to enhance equity, integrity and effectiveness in teaching and learning within education organisations.” –  Garth Hehir, Director, Elumina.

As an edtech firm specialising in digital assessments and proctoring solutions, Elumina has recently formed a strategic alliance with D2L Brightspace, a global learning innovation company dedicated to reshaping the future of education and work. This partnership is designed to facilitate seamless access to Elumina’s SaaS AI enabled proctoring solution for users of D2L Brightspace. The extended collaboration will bring forth joint go-to-market initiatives, enhancing the overall customer experience.

The collaboration is based on a common objective of helping institutions develop Interconnected educational environments for teaching and learning that nurture significant learning experiences, empowering students with the transferable skills essential for their success. Elumina has developed a suite of solution tools that connect with D2L Brightspace through LTI 1.3 and API integrations, providing users with a native and seamless AI proctoring layer to the Learning Management System (LMS).

Elumina believes learning doesn’t and shouldn’t end with graduation. Educators are the ones who foremost equip students with lifelong skills so they can always continue growing. Achieving this is indeed challenging; therefore, it requires a tremendous amount of support and assistance. The company aims to help every institution that wants to transform for the future. Elumina’s Assess App is used by professional membership organisations, colleges, universities and higher education institutions in Australia, New Zealand, China, Singapore and across APAC and its use is rapidly expanding.

Garth Hehir, head of sales and Director at Elumina, emphasised the importance of educational technology companies working together, stating, “In addressing the requirements of both educators and learners, it is essential for the educational technology environment to be guided by collaborative efforts. We take great pride in our association with D2L, as it enables us to enhance equity, integrity and effectiveness in teaching and learning within education organisations”.
